Grade 10 Vocal Music

Students are busy preparing for their second performance of the semester. They will be performing a song of their choosing. They have also been made aware of the elements that will be used for evaluation. As a class, we brainstormed indicators that would prove we just witnessed a great performance. Of these elements, a common thread was "Presentation". 

The class was aware that the way we present ourselves when we are performing makes a difference in the way our performance was perceived. These are things like eye contact, facial expressions and connecting with the audience. We will be looking for these elements in their next performances along with some other things we discussed.
