It's the first day!

It's the first day of semester 2. Feels like the day after labour day - new students, new classes, starting a semester fresh again. There are many opportunities for us all to reflect on last semester and think about what worked and what didn't work. From there, we have a choice. Do we change or remain status quo? 

We spent time in all three classes today doing some ice-breaker activities. We need to create a culture of acceptance in the classroom and these were great activities to help us do that. Students are encouraged to think of how they can contribute to the classroom culture of acceptance and respect.
