Performance Theme

The Jazz repertoire is vast and very dynamic. There are songs that are slow ballads, mid tempo and many up tempo tunes. The cool thing about this performance theme is that there are several different versions of each of these selections (below) and most, if not all, have been covered by males and females.

Are you looking for a duet? Sometimes, artists have made duets out of these songs. Look at "Unforgettable" - Nat King Cole was the first to record the song, but decades later his daughter recorded it as a duet with her late father's voice. Don't forget to look up Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald - this dynamic duo of jazz vocal standards made many recordings together.

Males - Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett (contemporary), Harry Connick Jr (contemporary), Mel Tormé, Michael Bubblé (contemporary - although not all of his songs are "jazz"), Bing Crosby
